Mitski poster in Arabic

Found this Mitski poster with Arabic typography and had to get it. The design is really striking. The script works beautifully with the composition and it is different from any other band poster I have seen.

Mitski's music has been a constant for me for years. There is a rawness to her writing that cuts through no matter what language you speak. But seeing her name in Arabic script adds another layer. Representation matters in small ways too. A poster on a wall. A name in your own alphabet.

Not everything needs a deep analysis. I like Mitski. I think this poster is really cool. That is it.
