Homemade lasagna
Lasagna is a commitment. You plan for it. You clear an afternoon. You accept that your kitchen will look like a disaster zone by the time it goes in the oven.
The layering is the best part. Sauce, pasta, cheese, repeat. Each layer matters. Too much sauce and it is soup. Too little and it is dry. The sweet spot only comes from trial and error.
This one was a classic meat lasagna with bechamel and mozzarella. The photo caught it mid build with the layers visible and the cheese waiting to melt. Came out of the oven bubbling and golden. Ate way too much of it. Worth it.
